📦 Shipping and Delivery
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Our products are made on demand (print-on-demand) to reduce waste. The total time consists of:
- Production: 2 to 5 business days.
- Shipping within Mexico: 4 to 8 additional business days.
- International shipping: 7 to 20 additional business days (depends on the country).
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on your address, package weight, and chosen method. In Mexico, it usually ranges between $99 and $250 MXN depending on the city. We periodically publish free shipping promotions on orders over a certain amount — follow us on Instagram to find out.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to most countries in America, Europe, and Oceania. Times and costs vary by destination. Please note that international orders may be subject to import taxes or customs duties in your country, which are the responsibility of the buyer.
How do I track my order?
When your order leaves production, we will send you an email with the tracking number and a link to track it. If you can't find it, please check your spam or promotions folder, or write to us at info@naluhou.com with your order number.
👕 Products and Sizes
How do I choose the correct size?
Each product has a size chart in centimeters and inches. You can also consult our 📏 Size Guide with instructions on how to measure yourself correctly. If you are between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger one for greater comfort — for fitted items (leggings, sports bra, rash guard) the smaller size gives the correct athletic fit.
Do the colors look the same as in the photo?
We do our best to show true colors, but they may vary slightly due to screen, lighting, and fabric batch. Differences are usually subtle. If you receive a product with a significantly different color than shown, please contact us.
What materials are the products made of?
Each product page details the specific materials. We primarily work with:
- GOTS certified organic cotton (Eco-Organic line 🌱).
- GRS certified recycled fabrics, including recycled PET (Eco-Recycled line ♻️).
- Premium ringspun cotton and blends with recycled polyester.
- Water-based, phthalate-free printing inks.
How do I care for my garments to make them last longer?
Always follow the care label inside. As a general rule:
- Machine wash cold, gentle cycle.
- Do not use bleach.
- Tumble dry low or air dry (prints last much longer this way).
- Iron inside out at low temperature, avoiding the printed area.
- For swimsuits and rash guards: rinse with fresh water after each use in the sea/pool.
🔄 Exchanges, Returns, and Order Issues
Can I change or cancel my order after paying?
Since we produce on demand, your order goes into production very quickly. If you need to change size, color, or cancel, please write to us within the first 4 hours after your purchase at info@naluhou.com. After that time, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to modify it.
Do you accept returns?
Since our products are made on demand and customized, we do not accept returns for buyer's remorse or size changes. However, we do accept returns or free replacements if:
- You received a product with a manufacturing defect.
- You received a different product than the one you ordered.
- The product shows shipping damage.
My order arrived damaged or with a defect, what should I do?
We are very sorry for the situation. Please send us to info@naluhou.com within a maximum of 14 days from receipt:
- Your order number.
- Clear photos of the defect or damage.
- Photo of the inner label and packaging (if damaged).
💳 Payments and Security
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal, and local methods depending on your country. In Mexico, we also accept interest-free monthly payments with participating cards. All payments are processed with SSL encryption to protect your information.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. Our store runs on Shopify, certified PCI-DSS Level 1 (the highest security standard for card processing). We never store your full card numbers on our servers.

What does "Nalu Hou" mean?
"Nalu Hou" means "New Wave" in Hawaiian. It represents the renewed energy we feel every time the ocean invites us to start something new. Every garment we design seeks to accompany you on that wave: adventure, connection with nature, and an accessible coastal lifestyle.
Why do you produce "on demand"?
Because we want to protect the planet. The fashion industry generates enormous amounts of inventory that ends up in landfills. By producing only what is sold, we avoid overproduction, reduce textile waste, and minimize our environmental footprint. The downside: delivery times are slightly longer than stores with pre-produced stock.
Do you have a physical store?
Currently, we only operate online through naluhou.com. In the future, we plan pop-ups at coastal events and surfing communities — follow us on Instagram to find out.
